SSL TO INSTALL THEIR LARGEST CONSOLE IN EUROPE
OXFORD based Solid State Logic (SSL) are to install the largest SL 9000 J Series console in Europe with Paris based Studios Guillaume Tell.
The studio are replacing an existing SL 9080 J series console with a new 96-channel version, equipped with monitoring for Dolby 5.1 surround sound mixing.
The 96-channel SL 9096 J is the fourth SSL console to have been installed in the control room since Studios Guillaume Tell opened for business in a converted cinema fifteen years ago.
Phillipe Guerinet, General Manager of SSL France, said: “We have an excellent relationship with Guillaume Tell based on fifteen years of friendship and trust.
“As a world class studio with an international client base they always seek to provide the highest levels of service and so the decision was taken to offer a larger console with the ability to record to 96 tracks, and to provide full 5.1 surround capability for both music and clients.”
The new console is scheduled for delivery in April when it will become the largest SL 9000 J Series console to be installed in continental Europe. (AMcE)
