ALIAS|WAVEFRONT APPOINTS NEW MARKETING MANAGER

ALIAS|WAVEFRONT UK have recruited Richard Love as their new marketing manager for Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa (NEMEA).
Based at the company's UK office, Love has joined Alias|Wavefront from specialist graphics and Internet distributor Computers Unlimited. He brings with him extensive channel marketing experience, notably in the creative Apple community, and will be supporting Alias|Wavefront's launch of ‘Maya’ software for Mac OS X this year in NEMEA.
Mark Pammenter, Alias|Wavefront regional manager for NEMEA said “Richard brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing experience from his background in the computer graphics industry. He has a proven track record in business development and a strong technical understanding. He will be a valuable addition to the Alias|Wavefront team.”
In his role as senior business manager for Computers Unlimited, Love was responsible for one of their key business units. Prior to this he worked with Evans and Sutherland, where he launched the CDRS Industrial Design system in the UK and Scandinavia.
Graduating with a BA (Hons.) in Industrial Design from Bristol University, Love began his career researching the use of computers for car styling and visualisation, forming part of the team that established the first MA course for Electronic Graphics in the UK. (AMcE)
