FAIRLIGHT FAME ON BRIGET JONES’S DIARY

FAIRLIGHT'S FAME 2 integrated workstation has been used to produce the 5.1 surround pop music mixes on the high profile soundtrack for ‘Bridget Jones's Diary’ at London based Out of Eden.
The 48 track FAME 2, Fairlight's integrated digital audio mixer and editor, enabled Out of Eden to keep all the audio within the digital domain to ensure absolute integrity, enhance mixes within minutes and create the highest quality result.
Andy Richards from Out of Eden said: "Working closely with the film's Music Editor Mike Higham, our goal throughout this project was to maintain the highest production quality, despite having just three weeks to complete all the work. Fairlight's FAME 2 enabled us to keep the audio in the digital domain and the speed and flexibility of the workstation gave us an incredible 'mobility of audio'. We were able to flip from project to project instantly, therefore attaining the speed of operation required to meet the deadlines. Without the Fairlight, we would not have delivered the outstanding final results in such a tight time frame."
