DSM launch F970 compatible battery for HD cameras

DSM's F970 compatible battery is 50Wh (6.9Ah) and can power all the latest range of HD cameras, including the HVRZ1E and HDRFX1 as well as DSR PD 170 and VX 2100 cameras.
Apart from being high capacity the battery has a DC socket for powering a video light or other 7.2V equipment up to 20W at the same time as power a camera.
Another feature of the battery is, the time remaining in the viewfinder adjusts when a light is powered or turned off. The battery is the same size as a standard F970 and weighs approximately the same too.
DSM's range of Li-ion V-Lock and NP1 simultaneous chargers now includes 2 way and 4 way models which are available with or without camera power supplies. A very keenly priced 2 way sequential model without an AC adapter will be available late this month.
Another new product that will be a sure fired winner is the DSM V60AC a 60W V-Lock mount camera power supply unit, that simply fits to a V-Lock camera plate like a battery.
DSM's highly acclaimed UV98 V-Lock battery and NPU65 NP1 batteries are now firm favourites with many Broadcasters across Europe.
