DCMS Management Board appointments announced
Sue Street, Permanent Secretary at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, has appointed Clive Elphick, and re-appointed Sonita Alleyne as non-executive members of the Department's Management Board.
In addition Clive Elphick will chair the Department's audit committee.
Elphick, 46, is currently Group Strategic Planning Director at United Utilities PLC, who have received of a number of awards for their community initiatives. While on part-time secondment to the Cabinet Office, Clive helped to produce 'Your delivery strategy – a practical look at business planning and risk', which has become a key tool in the drive to reform the Civil Service.
Sonita Alleyne, 35, is the co-founder of Somethin' Else, an independent radio, television and multimedia production company.
Educated at Cambridge with a degree in philosophy, Alleyne is a committee member for the Sony Radio Awards.
