WOOD AND DOUGLAS PRODUCTS FOR HIRE
THE complete range of Wood and Douglas wireless communication products for the broadcast industry are now available for short or long term hire.
Hiring will be of particular interest for producers of one-off outside broadcasts and major events. The company have just received an order for the hire of a substantial amount of equipment, for use in the forthcoming General Election, by one of the major independent broadcasters.
Competitively priced and available at short notice, hiring is ideal when there is an unexpected demand for additional equipment or where there are limits on capital expenditure.
The Wood and Douglas wireless intercom systems and studio link units are used in the broadcast industry worldwide. The latest wireless intercom range comprises the Symphony base station and the portable Solo receiver, Duo transmitter and Trio transceiver. The products incorporate advanced synthesised frequency control techniques to give broadcasters complete flexibility. For full duplex communications the compact design removes the need for studio staff to wear bulky transmitters and receivers separately.
The studio link units are designed to meet reporters’ needs for a complete outside broadcast link to the studio.
Units available include a portable reporter link, radio transmitter and receiver and a Band II off-air receiver.
All the units provide a high degree of functionality and at the same time are simple to operate.
