NMT PURCHASES SSL BROADCAST CONSOLES
OXFORDSHIRE based Solid State Logic have provided two consoles to US company National Mobile Television (NMT), a leading provider of mobile facilities for remote television broadcast production.
The purchases add to NMT’s growing fleet of mobile broadcast trucks. The 48-fader SSL Axiom-MT Digital Broadcast Console will be installed in a new all-digital truck that will be used for FOX Sports NFL broadcasts in Dolby Digital surround sound. The 40-fader SL 8000 GB will replace NMT's SL 5000 and will be installed in an existing truck for ABC's professional golf coverage.
NMT, which already owns and operates several SSL consoles including two Aysis Air Mobiles, say that the Axiom-MT was chosen because of its flexibility and reliability.
NMT purchased two different SSL consoles as each truck in their fleet is used for different applications.
