Outpost invests £100,000 in HD equipment
In response to customer demands, Pinewood-based Outpost Facilities have invested over £100,000 in new HD equipment.
To compliment its existing editing and dubbing facilities, Outpost has purchased HDCAM equipment and an Avid DS Nitris system.
The equipment will be used initially to post ‘The World of Nat King Cole’. Due to air Christmas 2004, it is the first in a series of music documentaries for Double Jab Productions, a new high-end production company formed by award winning documentary maker Stuart Watts.
Operating from just outside the M25, Outpost hopes the investment will encourage HD uptake among regional programme makers.
