NEW HEAD FOR MILLER EUROPE

LEADING camera support manufacturer Miller Fluid Heads have announced the appointment of Ian O’Connor as Managing Director of their European operations, Miller Fluid Heads (Europe). Based in Miller’s London office, O’Connor’s responsibilities will encompass sales, marketing and dealer support for the European and UK markets.
O’Connor is well known in local broadcasting circles, having worked with Canon UK for a decade as UK TV Products Sales and European Marketing Manager. Miller’s managing director Grant Clementson said: “Ian is well respected by customers and dealers alike. His background ideally complements the move from camera lens to camera support manufacturer, while his experience and motivation will ensure Miller continues to expand their ever-growing European customer base.”
O’Connor joins sales co-ordinator Amanda Sears in the sales and marketing team, and is capably supported by Service Manager Graham Adams. Clementson explained: “Rapid expansion of our European market as a result of our new generation Arrow and HD products prompted the move to larger premises with warehouse, showroom and service facilities. Ian expects to take full advantage of this expanded local support to further strengthen Miller’s reputation for quality sales and service support in broadcast and production.”
