TSL names former Thomson man as new CEO
TSL, one of Europe's leading independent broadcast systems integrators and manufacturers, has announced the appointment of David Phillips as CEO.
Reporting to Managing Director David MacGregor, Phillips will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.
Phillips most recent position was with Thomson Broadcast as Regional Sales Director for Northern Europe and Managing Director of Thomson UK. Prior to joining Thomson, he worked for Panasonic Broadcast Europe, Granada Television, Capital Radio and Racal-Decca.
"I'm delighted to be joining and being part of the evolution of TSL. The company has an outstanding reputation, not only as a systems integrator, but also as a manufacturer, and I'm looking forward to not only the challenge, but leading the business at such an exciting time", said Phillips.
David MacGregor, TSL's Managing Director, added: "With Phillips joining the existing management team and TSL moving into new headquarters early 2005, we are embarking on a new era. I'm confident of continued company growth and development and that Phillips is the man to head up the new TSL."
