Network Electronics VikinX joins AMX Inconcert Programme

Network Electronics’ comprehensive VikinX router range has further extended its reach through membership in the AMX Corporation Inconcert Programme.
The Inconcert Programme pairs AMX with the world’s leading manufacturers of audio/video, environmental and communications technologies to furnish seamless, fully integrated control solutions. The partnership vastly increases the compatibility of Network Electronics’ routers with alternate venues transcending Network’s traditional broadcast market.
“We are delighted to join Inconcert,” said Cameron Francis, CEO of Network Electronics, US. “The opportunity to expand VikinX application base through AMX technology is very exciting. System Integrators and Contractors are utilising the AMX control system to successfully incorporate our routers in facilities that differ from our traditional users, including the fast-growing multi-media market.”
All of Network Electronics’ VikinX routers are compatible with AMX’s control system. Network Electronics’ popular router line is comprised of routers ranging from 8 X 4 up to 128 X 128 and can accommodate Broadcast, Telco and Multimedia formats. The popular and attractively priced Media 8 – a member of the company’s multi-media router family featuring RGBHV or Y/C 400 MHz analogue video routers with stereo options for analogue audio, is the first to take advantage of the Inconcert programme.
"Truly effective integrated systems require cooperation among many parties, including manufacturers. AMX's Inconcert Programme is a proven industry standard for collaboration among manufacturers whose purpose is to simplify the automation and integration of audio/video, environmental and communications technologies," said Rashid Skaf, AMX Executive Vice President. "The benefits of participation by leading manufacturers, such as Network Electronics, delivers convenience to system integrators who are increasingly choosing Inconcert-based solutions for their customers."
