LAST CALL FOR INDUSTRY CENSUS FORMS

SKILLSET have announced the last call for industry census forms, as the deadline is June 20. This year’s census can be completed on-line at www.skillsetcensus.org, and BECTU have urged all employers in the audio-visual sector to take part.
Hundreds of audio-visual employers are participating in the industry-wide survey.
Organised by Skillset, the survey will provide a snapshot of the workforce on June 20, detailing their experience, formal training and other features.
Skillset's previous survey, conducted last year, produced a definitive report on audio-visual workers, which has been used by employers, the union, and the government in formulating policies for the industry. Over 7,000 census forms were distributed. (CD)
