Quantel selects SGL FlashNet for IBC 2004 news workflow demonstration

Software Generation Ltd (SGL), a leading provider of video archiving management solutions, has been chosen by Quantel to form part of its end-to-end sQ system workflow demonstration at Quantel's stand 7.221/7.321 throughout IBC 2004.
The sQ demonstration showcasing SGL FlashNet will allow visitors to IBC 2004 to experience the whole editing workflow solution from beginning to end. SGLFlashNet allows the editor to transparently move files from the archive library to the asset management system, creating a seamless link directly to sQ.
Quantel's unique Resolution Co-existence platform capabilities allow any number of editors to quickly and easily select clips, in any format and any size. Once the clip has been edited it can be transferred back to the archive library for reuse at a later date with the aid of SGL FlashNet.
