The addition to their operation of an Avid Unity MediaNet Server allows all the benefits found with an integrated solution incorporating all content creation systems. These include a new Symphony and DVD Creator running on the Unity for shared storage and administration of resources.
The project comprises of the acquisition of an Avid Unity MediaNet server, Avid Symphony Universal, 3 x Media Composers, an Xpress NT, a Sonic DVD Creator and a selection of ancillaries including DLT, DVD writer, Digibeta and test and measurement equipment.
As the facility-class media network for content creators, the Unity virtually eliminates time when handling and managing storage, as well as connecting and optimising creative tools.
The Symphony is to be used for finishing broadcast projects started on Media Composer but additionally some of this work is being authored to DVD for sell through.
