Gefen to showcase new AV connectivity solutions at IBC

At IBC Gefen is to launch newly engineered products that cater to digital video and, most recently, high definition television (HDTV) displays.
These include a 2:8 HDTV Distribution Amplifier that can switch between two sources, a 1:2 HDMI Splitter that sends one video source to two displays; HDMI Switchers that connect multiple sources to one display; long distance extenders that enable DVI or HDMI displays to remain connected and functioning hundreds of meters from the source; digital video and computer component extenders that enable remote operation and control using CAT-5 cables fibre optic-based computer component extenders for USB and Firewire devices; and a revolutionary digital video extender that uses CAT-5 cable to send HDTV up to 50 meters from the source.
