GatesAir Completes Latest Flexiva Transmission And Intraplex AoIP Product Lines

News Image
Visitors to GatesAir's NAB Show 2025 (W2720) booth will once again be taken through a journey of its current-generation transmission and networking products across three key product brands for wireless content delivery: Flexiva (FM and HD Radio), Intraplex (STL and Distribution) and Maxiva (TV and DAB/DAB+). GatesAir will highlight new products across the three branded stations that complete recent product lines or update technologies.

GatesAir has completed its Flexiva GX FM transmitter line with the new 3.5kW model, providing FM radio broadcasters with seven options that cover the most common power levels requested by customers. The Flexiva GX3.5K receives its global alongside the NAB debut of the Flexiva GX2K, a 2KW introduced at IBC in September. All seven Flexiva GX models from 50 W to 10 kW offer a strong power-to-size ratio thanks to a compact, high-density architecture featuring the latest LDMOS technology. GatesAir has also added an enhanced GUI with built-in audio playback and playlist managers to all seven models.

GatesAir has also completed its second-generation Intraplex IP Link family with the new IPL-200n codec, adding a full duplex, two stereo-channel option. The IPL-200n comes one year after the debut of the IPL-100n, a single stereo-channel version that otherwise offers the same impressive feature set thanks to modernised platform with greater capacity for more integrated features. Along with network path redundancy through GatesAir’s Dynamic Stream Splicing (DSS) software — long a characteristic of GatesAir’s Audio over IP innovations — the IP Link 200n’s greater capacity absorbs 10-band audio processing technology and updated audio compression algorithms.

GatesAir has also released a new Intraplex device for radio broadcasters using analog audio processors to transport AES-192 and digital MPX signals. The new MPX Bridge provides a fast and convenient way to digitally transport an FM composite signal across an IP network, and eliminates the need to invest in a new processor to access the benefits of an IP network. The device works with all four second-generation IP Link products, which also includes a half-rack codec ideal for remote broadcasting and contribution (IPL-100c) and a Flexiva transmitter module (IPL-100e) for GatesAir Flexiva that removes the need for an external receiving codec.

GatesAir has updated its Maxiva GNSS-PTP timing and signal reference system with a new chipset that modernises the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) technology. The 1RU product can be equipped with chipsets to support GNSS (satellite), PTP (IP) or both systems, with eight outputs to send precision timing information between mission-critical components. The product design includes redundant AC power supplies and built-in battery backup for always-on protection, along with diverse timing sources for TV and radio transmitters, networking products and studio equipment.

NAB Show runs today through Wednesday.
