FilmLight announces new appointments

FilmLight, pioneers of digital film technology, has announced the appointment of a new Sales Manager and new Product Specialist.
The new staff will be based in FilmLight’s London office and join the fast-growing company that has now sold its Northlight, Baselight and Truelight systems to over 50 companies worldwide.
Andrew Johnston joins FilmLight as Sales Manager, with a wealth of industry knowledge gained from companies such as Discreet, Softimage, Kaydara and Unique ID. Jacqui Loran, previously of XTFX, Tyrell and Avid, enhances the support and sales team as Product Specialist.
Peter Stothart, Commercial Director, FilmLight, said: “This is an exciting and busy time for FilmLight with the rapid instalment of our digital intermediate technology and the new Baselight Four and Eight systems that will be launched IBC. These appointments reflect our commitment to the industry and to providing our prospective and current clients with experienced and knowledgeable sales and support staff.”
Johnston, who joins with immediate effect, will be responsible for the direct and channel sales of all FilmLight products. Due to his considerable experience in launching and marketing of products he will also be involved in the marketing of FilmLight. Loran will be responsible for product demonstrations and pre and post sales support of clients and distributors.
