Cinegy Plays Crucial Role In Tyrell Cloud ConnectStream Integration

News Image
Cinegy has provided Cinegy Capture PRO and award-winning Cinegy Multiviewer licences to Tyrell, a leading cloud SI and solutions company in the UK and Ireland, for integration into its brand new ConnectStream video contribution and IP streaming service.

Within this exciting new addition to the Tyrell Cloud offering, Tyrell has bundled the Cinegy Capture PRO and Cinegy Multiviewer licenses with AWS services into a single line item for customers. Cinegy products play a crucial role in Tyrell ConnectStream’s ability to automate the ingest of up to 8 live SRT video signals into the cloud and into multiple outputs on any SRT compatible application, such as ingest servers, vision mixers or multiviewers, leveraging the power of AWS.

"Cinegy was the obvious choice for us when we were putting together our brand new ConnectStream off-the-shelf video contribution and IP streaming service, as Cinegy also delivers entirely virtualised software-based turnkey solutions that offer cost savings, infinite scalability and flexibility, as well as an extremely quick video set-up and delivery time," said Dan Muchmore, Sales and Marketing Director of Tyrell. "We are simplifying cloud migration for our customers and once again, we have been able to rely on Cinegy to help us in this process."

Cinegy Capture PRO is a real-time ingest application that is already widely recognised as an extremely capable and practical ingest platform, not just capturing streams but performing all the necessary transforms and proxy generation to make them instantly available. Capture PRO meets the need for realtime video to be recorded reliably and securely, and at the same time made available across the business as quickly as possible.

A single Cinegy Multiviewer can input, monitor, analyse, and display hundreds of traditional or IP-based incoming feeds on one or multiple screens and output in a range of IP streaming formats. A focus on GPU acceleration capabilities in the latest version has reduced server CPU load and increased scalability, making this a wholly sustainable solution. The Cinegy Multiviewer is also a widely used solution for professional NDI monitoring, now offering an NDI source tolerance mode.

"We are delighted to continue working with Tyrell, this time for the creation of their new ConnectStream that is expected to be of particular interest to all outfits who need to easily and quickly set up live video signals, namely OBs broadcasting live events, broadcasters seeking to move functionality into the cloud, post-production editing and those hosting virtual conferences," said Daniella Weigner, Managing Director of Cinegy. "The Cinegy suite of solutions offers a cost-effective, powerful and software-based answer to many of the current problems facing broadcasters nowadays. Tyrell's ConnectStream is a perfect example of how simple and cost-effective cloud-based solutions can be."
