SIDE EFFECTS SOFTWARE FORMS AGREEMENT WITH DISNEY

SIDE Effects Software have announced that the company is expanding their ongoing relationship with Walt Disney Feature Animation.
The agreement includes a significant purchase of software licenses and the integration of Houdini, Side Effects Software’s award-winning 3D animation software package, into Disney’s production pipeline.
The high level of productivity and the rapid prototyping features of Houdini's procedural paradigm is at the centre of Disney's decision.
Houdini will be fully integrated into the Disney production pipeline to assist their artists and animators in seamlessly producing stunning visual effects to meet Disney and the Secret Lab's world class animation needs.
Houdini provides the animators and technical directors with maximum flexibility and control to meet their most demanding requirements and to simulate a wide range of needs in the most efficient manner.
