The University Of Greenwich Chooses Alfalite

News Image
The University of Greenwich has chosen to integrate advanced LED technology from Alfalite, the only European manufacturer of LED screens, into its new flagship centre dedicated to education and research in audiovisual processes and content.

This centre positions itself as a pioneer in the study and development of advanced audiovisual technologies, highlighting the university’s confidence in the innovative and high-quality solutions that Alfalite offers.

The main installation, an Alfalite Modularpix Pro 1.5 ORIM VP XR LEDWALL, will provide a cutting-edge platform for the creation and viewing of XR (extended reality) content. This technology will be fundamental to the university’s educational and research activities, allowing for the exploration of new frontiers in audiovisual content.

The project has been carried out in collaboration with Mo-sys, responsible for the supply and integration of the LEDWALL and its additional systems such as StarTracker Max and other XR solutions. This joint effort ensures a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Luis Garrido Fuentes, CEO of Alfalite, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration: "We are very proud that the University of Greenwich has chosen our solutions for its flagship center for education and research. This project is a testament to the quality and performance of our LED technologies, and we look forward to seeing how our products contribute to the advancement of research and education in audiovisual content."

The LEDWALL is managed using Brompton Technology’s video processors, specifically the Brompton SX40 and XD Unit. This detail underscores that the project is a 100% European VP XR solution, reinforcing the commitment to technological excellence and European cooperation in educational and research projects.
