MSolutions To Display New Docking Extender Solution
MSolutions is returning to InfoComm with its new docking extender solution, an innovation that simplifies installation and consolidates all video, audio, and data signals through a single USB-C cable.
The new MS-63DOC Docking Extender redefines meeting room integration by removing the complexities of traditional HDMI connectivity for moving signals over long distances in medium to large meeting and learning spaces.
Exhibiting in the Stirling Communications Supply booth (W2153) with Symco, its new manufacturer’s representative, MSolutions will demonstrate how the MS-63DOC Docking Extender requires only one USB-C cable — connected to the Host unit — to transmit 4K@60 4:4:4 video, data, audio, and Ethernet over Category cable to a Device unit (Receiver). Positioned up to 100 meters (333 feet) away, this Host acts as an HDBaseT gateway to the Device, streamlining connectivity and enhancing flexibility.
Beyond a mere receiver, the MS-63DOC Device functions as a robust docking extender, supporting up to two displays (via separate HDMI connections), a USB or PTZ camera (via USB 3.2 or USB-C connections), and an audio speaker output. The Host also includes a built-in control system to manage the third-party meeting room elements such as camera control, further enhancing operational efficiency.
"The personal computing and device market is gradually beginning to standardize on USB-C for connectivity, and many laptops and desktops coming to market over the past years have removed HDMI and RJ45 connections," said Eliran Toren, CEO, MSolutions. "This can cause various connectivity and presentation headaches, usually due to using a separate docking station that hands HDMI and USB off to an extender. Our solution turns the extender into the actual docking station, transmitting video, audio and data signals over one USB-C cable and then opening all connections on the output. Its design removes the costs and cable clutter of the separate docking station while ensuring that reliable, full bandwidth 5G video, audio and control signals coming out of the docking extender."
The MOS-63DOC docking extender goes beyond just in room-presentation. It helps to support seamless hybrid meetings by swiftly transmitting video, data and audio inside the room with zero latency before handing off to Zoom, Teams and other conferencing software. Those attending in person and joining remotely experience the content simultaneously, enhancing collaboration and engagement. In educational settings, instructors can send video and data from laptops or podiums to the docking extender, providing unmatched flexibility as to where content is displayed.
MSolutions will also debut several products introduced at ISE to InfoComm attendees including its new MS-210WP 4K wallplate KVM extender set, which provides uncompressed HDMI and USB signals between client and host machines in an ultra-slim wallplate profile. InfoComm also marks the North American debut of the company’s MS-41Q QuadView video processor, a cost-effective Multiview scaler to display four 4K@60 4:4:4 video sources on one screen for live production, security and other monitoring purposes.
