The company's search for a control system that could respond to the ever-growing complexities of television lighting was found in the new Compulite Vector. In fact, RML were so impressed that they invested in three new Vector Blue's from Stagetec Distribution, which have now been delivered and are ready and available for hire.
With its intuitive Windows based operating system, two TFT touch screens, multi use encoder wheels, backlit trackball and motorised faders, users can quickly select, modify and update information using an interface which is familiar to them. The ability to group faders to provide a 'super playback' means operators can have absolute control over all playback parameters.
Vector's unique dual processor architecture ensures it is one of the most stable desks on the market. And with up to 16 DMX outputs, 999 Cue lists, 9999 Groups, 9 Library Categories, Vector is a desk that not only deals efficiently with today's channel heavy fixtures, but is ready to deal with technology as it develops.
The Vector has already been used on a wide range of TV Productions including ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘Top of the Pops’ and ‘Jonathan Ross’.
