Pro-Bel signs Brazilian dealer

Following on from its growing success in the North American market, Pro-Bel is mirroring that effort in South America with the announcement that it has signed a Brazilian dealer.
Phase Engenharia, Industria e Comercio Ltd will be the exclusive supplier of Pro-Bel technology in Brazil.
Headed by Managing Director Carlos Eduardo Capellao, Phase Engenharia has built up a strong reputation across Brazil since its creation in 1980 in Rio de Janeiro. As well as supplying key solutions to the broadcasting, pay-TV, broadband and telecommunications markets, the company also provides extensive support services. These include integration and technical support as well as consultation.
Victor Porter, Pro-Bel’s Regional Sales Manager for South America, said: “Brazil is the largest potential market for our solutions in South America and it was essential that we contracted a dealer with the correct level of sales and technical expertise. Phase Engenharia is clearly ideally positioned in those regards.”
Pro-Bel already has a non-exclusive arrangement with Videotron to supply Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Porter adds that further South American dealers will be contracted by the end of this year.
