DIRECTOR’S COURSE LAUNCHES IN GALWAY
‘MAKING Movies’ is the title of a new three-day residential course based on the Killary Fjord in Leenane, Co. Galway.
Would be directors can now realise their dreams of making that block busting film to the backdrop of the rugged beauty and unspoiled grandeur of the wild and untamed Connemara land.
The three-day course consists of how to write a movie script, getting out in the field with a Sony Digital Camera and afterwards learning how to edit your tape using state of the art equipment and programs. The concept of storyboarding your movies, bringing video material into a project, cutting scenes to a perfect length, designing titles and applying transitions, filters and special effects, is taught with the newest Apple Computers and Adobe Professional Software.
Whether it’s a documentary, a scary movie or a music video clip that the budding Steven Spielberg chooses to make, this course suits anyone aged between 15 and 85. The final product is then recorded back to tape, onto a multimedia CD-Rom or DVD.
Killary Corporate, in conjunction with Digital Rain, plan to pilot their first course on the October Bank Holiday Weekend.
For more details on this innovative course please contact Killary Corporate at:
Tel: +00 353 95 - 42276 or alternatively via email to [email protected].
