Qvest Increases Majority Stake In Tarent AG

News Image
Qvest has significantly increased its majority stake in tarent AG, headquartered in Bonn.

By bundling its expertise under the joint brand "Qvest", the company is also sharpening its positioning as a global and trusted partner for customers.

The Qvest Group GmbH has increased its majority stake in Qvest Digital AG, formerly tarent AG based in Bonn, by around 20 percent to 70 percent. In addition, the Digital Product Development team will now operate uniformly under the "Qvest" brand. The increase in the shareholding and change of name marks the next step in the Qvest brand and growth strategy. It promotes even more intensive cooperation within the company group and ensures greater sales effectiveness, greater growth potential, and reach in the global customer approach.

Peter Nöthen, CEO of the Qvest Group: "Today, companies in almost all industries are intensively exploring the opportunities of digital transformation. With our digital team and its nearshoring company eSolutions in Romania, we are now even more competitive for the realisation of digital business models and individual software development projects under the common brand Qvest. In combination with other services from our company group, such as innovation consulting, change management, UI/UX design and systems integration, we are creating a unique and integrated offering that provides our global customers with the best possible support at every stage of their transformation processes."

The single-brand structure of Qvest gives customers in all global markets optimum access to the group-wide range of services, organised into 15 practices as clearly defined areas of expertise. For the approximately 300 employees, the change of name and increase in shareholding will not result in any changes to their operational activities. The Management Board of Qvest Digital AG will also remain unchanged with Dr. Stefan Barth, Kai Ebenrett, Boris Esser and Alexander Steeg.

Boris Esser, member of the Management Board of Qvest Digital AG: "The decision to work even more closely with Qvest and to change our names accordingly has the common strategic background that we want to leverage the power and strength of the company group in terms of sales, growth, reach and further development of our business."
