XL VIDEO ON THIRD ROBBIE TOUR

XL Video were once again live video provider for the incredibly successful Robbie Williams summer stadium tour.
It’s the third Robbie tour for XL, and the video system was supplied via Blink TV. XL Video and Blink TV will also be co-ordinating the upcoming Australia/New Zealand section of the tour
Robbie Williams has always pioneered the use of new and original video techniques via his stage productions, led by the innovative design team of artistic director and lighting designer Liz Berry, video producer Justine Catterall and set designer Hattie Spice. Video is again at the essence of the show’s dramatic, memorable, visuality.
The XL Video package for the stadium tour was a combination of two elements. A 7-camera live playback system, directed by Phil Woodhead, mixed and routed thorough XL’s digital GVG4000 mixer/switcher at Front-of-house, and a pre-recorded hard-disk playback system containing clips, sequences, graphics and other material produced in advance by Caterall.
