IP Showcase Presentations Now Available Online
The Audio Engineering Society (AES), Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), European Broadcasting Union (EBU), SMPTE®, and the Video Services Forum (VSF) has announced that over 40 videos of presentations given in the IP Showcase Theater at the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas are now available for viewing on the IP Showcase website.
Given by top experts, the 30-minute presentations cover a wide range of IP-related topics, from the latest developments in SMPTE ST 2110 to NMOS, ground-to-cloud architectures, IPMX, QC monitoring and maintenance, cloud-based production, and much more.
The IP Showcase is committed to educating attendees at major industry events on the potential of IP media solutions, and the IP Showcase Theater is at the heart of that commitment. Unlike other NAB presentations that were company-sponsored or thought leadership opportunities, presentations in the IP Showcase Theater were delivered by hands-on engineers who instruct attendees on exactly how to move to an IP infrastructure.
"The IP Showcase at the 2023 NAB Show was a resounding success, featuring more presentations in the Theater than ever before. For those who weren't able to attend — or need a refresher on a certain topic — the online library of presentation videos offers a valuable educational resource," said Andrew Starks, an AIMS board of directors member and director of product management for Macnica. "We'd like to thank our members, partners, and of course the presenters themselves for making the event one to remember."
