Moonraker VFX Appoints New Head Of 3D

Bristol-based studio Moonraker VFX has appointed Lucas Pozzey as Head of 3D to help level up the studio's expanding and award-winning VFX team.

Lucas Pozzey is a 3D Specialist with over two decades of experience including time at VFX houses MPC, DNEG, Luma, and Jellyfish.

After establishing himself in live action as a director and cinematographer, Pozzey was able to transfer those skills into VFX, leading to a highlight filled career including contributions to Prometheus, Lion King (2019), Marvel and DC films. His work includes six films in the last decade nominated for the Best Visual Effects Academy Award. Having most recently worked on the award winning Prehistoric Planet series, Pozzey brings to Moonraker a unique perspective on visual effects creation and where the technology can take us.
