Two Hamlet units make European debut

The Broadcast Production Show saw the European debut of two new products from Hamlet, designed to meet the test and measurement needs of the professional facility in the digital era.
Each offers all-digital processing for the ultimate in accuracy and stability.
Flexiscope is the first product to be built using Hamlet’s new bespoke digital processing engine. The platform has been designed by Hamlet to offer powerful, practical and affordable digital test devices without compromising anything in precision.
Flexiscope is a platform HD and SD vectorscope and waveform monitor with integral high quality 3.5” TFT display. The display can also be used to view the picture in either 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. The Flexiscope also checks embedded audio with bar graph and phase displays and confidence monitoring via headphones or the built in loudspeaker.
For users who need a traditional, half-rack unit but need to move away from the maintenance problems of analogue signal processing and CRT alignment issues, the new LCD Scope 292 is the ideal product. It can provide quality control over the full range of signal formats including HD-SDI, SDI, NTSC and PAL composite, CAV, YC and DV, thanks to optional plug-in interfaces which allow the user to customise the LCD scope to the precise requirement. Vectors and waveforms are displayed on the integral high resolution TFT display.
