LWKS Launches QScan 2023

LWKS has launched QScan 2023, a major new version of its industry-leading automated quality control (AQC) platform.

With QScan 2023, LWKS radically improves its pro-user experience and reaffirms its position as a leading competitive force in film, TV and professional video editing.

QScan 2023 combines world-leading video production and AQC tools in a single, integrated platform, enabling users to produce first-class content that complies with the stringent requirements of streaming services, broadcasters and other content distributors.

Following on from QScan's much-revered HDR analysis reporting, LWKS have added chunk-based analysis to QScan 2023, thereby greatly speeding up the AQC workflow. Another major new feature is combining eyeball events into a customisable AQC report. This represents a big step forward in efficiency as users can now start a fast partial analysis and then use the timeline to insert eyeball events as they spot them while the more complicated analyses are carried out in the background.

Other important additions include enhanced PDF report customisation and generation, new templates for Disney+, and an improved user interface.
