Pixellot And Football NSW Announce Two-Year Partnership

News Image
Pixellot and Football NSW (FNSW), the governing body for football in the Australian state of New South Wales, have agreed to a two-year partnership, implementing Pixellot's recording and analytics solution across the region's high-performance teams and programmes.

Under the agreement, FNSW's Institute girls' programme, talent support programme (TSP), and New South Wales state representative teams will all benefit from Pixellot’s game footage recording and analysis.

FNSW programmes have been the pathway for many Australian football stars across men's and women's football including high-profile players like Aaron Mooy (Celtic), Ellie Carpenter (Olympique Lyonnais), and Caitlin Foord (Arsenal).

As part of the partnership, FNSW will take advantage of Pixellot's suite of solutions, including both Pixellot Air, Pixellot's mobile live streaming solution, and Pixellot Show cameras, permanently installed at their headquarters, Valentine Sports Park, as well as at other locations across the state.

Following games or training sessions, Pixellot automatically delivers video for coding, tagging, and annotating on a dedicated coaching platform. Coaches will be able to access video footage of games and training sessions, automated highlights, detailed player analytics, and in-depth breakdowns of video content, such as heatmaps of the field of play and shot charts. There is no need for additional third-party analysis or coding platforms.

"Football NSW's strong dedication to the future of Australian football is consistent with its continuous investment in the innovation and technological advancement of its players and instrumental in identifying and developing talent across the region," said Alon Werber, CEO of Pixellot. "We are pleased to support FNSW’s elite coaching programmes, who produced many of the country's legendary Socceroos and Matildas, in search of the country's future stars."

"Video has increasingly become a crucial part of football coaching and player development environments," said Football NSW's Technical Director, Warren Grieve. "Pixellot provides Football NSW with the ability to record high-quality match footage that allows us to give individual feedback and analysis to our players, coaches, and parents. We look forward to working with Pixellot’s suite of products to support the identification and development of Australia’s next generation of football talent."
