BGS Unveils AudioPressBox

Broadcasters General Store (BGS) has added AudioPressBox to its lineup, making Dante-enabled Press Boxes available to its customers.

AudioPressBox is a European manufacturer of professional press conference audio distribution amplifiers. This sophisticated tool is ideal for audio distribution at press conferences, presentations, and other events where audio signal has to be transmitted or recorded by multiple TVs, cameras, audio recorders, reporters, and/or journalists. AudioPressBox is the market leader in press boxes with partners in more than 60 countries.

The latest product from AudioPressBox is the AudioPressBox APB-216 C-D, a professional portable, active, Dante-enabled pressbox. Thanks to a built-in rechargeable accu pack and a heavy duty Nanuk case, these units can be used outdoors without electricity, allowing you to set up a press conference both indoors and outdoors. Other notable features include:

• 2 MIC (phantom power) / LINE Inputs – balanced with gain control and 26dB PAD
• 1 Channel DANTE Input - RJ45 ethercon, requires PoE
• 16 balanced and individually transformer isolated outputs
• Each Output is switchable between MIC or LINE output level
• Built-in Compressor and Limiter for each Input
• Li-Ion AccuPack with microprocessor-controlled battery management
