ACCELOOP MULTIMEDIA BOOSTER LAUNCHED
Acceloop have announced the availability of Acceloop Multimedia Booster - a new software product that enhances and accelerates the delivery of video, webcasts, large music files, games, flash and other multimedia formats, saving significant bandwidth costs.
Acceloop Multimedia Booster guarantees successful completion of heavy multimedia content delivery under all conditions.
Multimedia Booster enables users to recover from multimedia delivery failures, even after disconnection periods, using a special auto-recovery mechanism. Multimedia content delivery is accelerated by up to 200 per cent over dial-up lines, and up to 700 per cent over broadband networks. An optional peer-to-peer technology, ideal for multimedia content delivery, leverages unused bandwidth available on other users' systems, in real-time, downloading portions of the content from each other with minimum delays.
