New arrivals welcomed at Hackenbacker

Audio post-production specialist Hackenbacker has welcomed two new additions to its Soho based facility this year.
Starting with equipment, Hackenbacker has added to its already impressive line-up with the purchase of a Neve Libra console for its Studio 2. The new console allows both Studio 1 and 2 to operate interchangeably as it runs the same automation from both.
Julian Slater, Co-Managing Director for Hackenbacker explained: “It means that things can be premixed in one studio and then final mixed in another. The advantage of this is that we now have complete control and flexibility for mixing in both Studios.”
The Neve console has already been put through its paces on projects for both Red Cap II and the television smash hit, ‘Hustle’.
Hackenbacker has also announced the appointment of Becky Lomax as its new Studio Manager.
Lomax replaces previous Studio Manager Faye Stevens, who has recently left the company.
Lomax will be responsible for the coordination of all studio bookings and will be point of contact for production staff and clients to ensure a smooth running of the studio.
