SAVVIS announces NAB plans
SAVVIS Communications Corporation, a leading global managed IP and hosting services provider, has announced it will demonstrate the range of applications that make up its Media Services Platform at the Digital Asset Management (DAM) Pavilion (SL2769) at NAB 2004.
This comprehensive Media Services Platform is built around the needs of companies that own, create and globally distribute digital content. Leveraging SAVVIS' acquisition of WAM!NET in 2003, it combines WAM!NET's proven media content management and distribution services with SAVVIS' global managed IP network and extensive hosting infrastructure and video transport services.
This suite of services is delivered as a managed utility that addresses the entire workflow process from end-to-end and bridges the gaps between content owners, their suppliers and business partners. It is delivered on a unique, standards-based architecture that utilizes global network, storage and application hosting infrastructure as a foundation for content creation, digital asset management, and content distribution services.
