QVS DELIVERS INDUSTRY FIRST OUT OF THE BLUE

QUADRANT Visual Solutions (QVS), the designers and builders of state-of-the-art professional audio visual installations and providers of conference, presentation, and multimedia services, have launched the FAST blue editing system.
The system is one of the first worldwide to support native editing and MPEG IMX, DV and DVCPRO 25/50, including multiple transfers rates.
In a series of demonstration road-shows in October at Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester, the Host Media Centre in Leeds and Birmingham City Football Club, QVS demonstrated FAST blue, FAST purple and FAST transmit, the satellite uplink software designed for broadcast journalists and 1 Gbit Ethernet solution for sharing media between multiple editing suites.
In addition to the FAST range, QVS offered the industry one of the first opportunities in the UK to see Sony’s new digital format IMX range, including its state-of-the-art VTR MSW-M2000P, unique because of its ability to play back all of the Sony half inch formats that have gone before. QVS also showed the latest additions to the range of Sony DVCAM format products and a range of professional accessories from Vinten and Anton Bauer. (CD)
