DNF Controls to launch new sports controllers at NAB 2004
DNF Controls is to launch two new affordable sports controllers at NAB.
The fast and easy-to-use DMAT-O-21 with two record and one playback channel and DMAT-O-22 controller with two record and two playback channels are ideal for generating slow motion instant replays as well as building, managing, and playing out highlight lists.
The DMAT-O-21 and DMAT-O-22 are both affordably priced at just $7,500 and $8,500, respectively and provide the speed and reliability required in live sports broadcast environments.
Time-sensitive operations are completed with just a few keystrokes. Each DMAT-O works with the video server's simultaneous recording and playback capability, allowing operators to continue recording interviews and live play while playing out instant replays or highlights. Both controllers feature a T-bar to ensure maximum speed control while viewing the recorded material.
As with all DNF control solutions, the DMAT-O-21 and DMAT-O-22 feature a familiar interface that guarantees comprehensive and reliable server control in fast-paced production environments. Broadcasters can select the DMAT-O control solution that makes the best use of their existing video server resources to meet their current and future record and playout needs.
"These two new sports controllers give broadcasters flexibility in extending the functionality of their video servers to meet both their broadcast needs and their budgets," said DNF Controls President Dan Fogel. "Both DMAT-O systems are compatible with a broad range of servers currently on the market, making it easy for operators to record, create, and playout the clip combinations and packages that make live broadcasting so compelling for viewers."
