pixitmedia Celebrates New AWS Partner Status

News Image
pixitmedia has been officially named an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner following an extensive audit from in-house experts.

The storage and data management solutions provider becomes the latest to join the AWS Partner Network (APN), the global community of Partners who leverage AWS to build trusted solutions and services for customers.

Integrating seamlessly for productions in the cloud, pixstor offers AWS customers an agile storage environment that guarantees adaptability and performance. With the intelligent power of pixitmedia's ngenea to quickly and securely transport data to and from globally distributed cloud, object storage, and traditional NAS filers, pixitmedia and AWS can prove to be a formidable force when servicing creative processes in the cloud.

Being an AWS Partner further accredits pixitmedia's expertise in cloud integration and highlights how pixitmedia puts the business needs and requirements of the customer first. Boasting an impressive portfolio of media and entertainment industry clients who work on pixstor and ngenea in the cloud, pixitmedia is successfully servicing global media distribution studios and film studios delivering solutions with AWS, such as cloud studio, burst render, and virtual studio.

To be recognized as an AWS Technology Partner, pixitmedia showcased its partnership with Union VFX, who required increased levels of storage and processing power to create an ambitious and intricately detailed scene in post, whilst running other projects concurrently. The studio needed to scale their hardware quickly, but carefully, and worked with pixitmedia to build a high-performance pipeline capable of bursting to AWS supported by ngenea from pixitmedia.

Andrew Wierzan, VP of Product at pixitmedia, said: "pixitmedia is not just another storage vendor, we deliver solutions that solve our customers day to day data workflow challenges. With incredibly simple push button deployment. With pixstor cloud running on AWS, customers benefit from all of the performance, scalability, and data management benefits of our platforms. Receiving the highly regarded AWS Partner status solidifies our position as a trusted industry expert for production and collaboration in the cloud."

pixitmedia is already in the process of making the required next steps in the AWS Partner journey, submitting more successful customer use cases for consideration and remaining ahead of the curve when it comes to innovations in storage for AWS customers.
