DISCOVERY COMMISSIONS CROMWELL PRODUCTIONS

CROMWELL Productions, a division of Eagle Rock Entertainment, have been commissioned by Discovery Networks Europe to produce a special two-hour documentary to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Falklands War.
The programme, which is scheduled for spring 2002, will concentrate solely on the military history of the conflict in the South Atlantic. With newsreel film and brand new footage with the islands as its backdrop, the documentary will feature state of the art computer animation and 3D graphics to provide new perspectives on the battles that determined the outcome of the war.
Also featured will be interviews with veterans of the armed services from both sides of the war, plus comment and analysis by a team of leading authorities and senior military personnel.
The Falklands War – A Military History will be made with the full approval and co-operation of the Ministry of Defence.
Cromwell Productions are leading producers of history and arts films and documentaries in the UK. Other Cromwell series produced for Discovery include Battlefield, Scorched Earth and Lost Treasures of the Ancient World.
