For almost 30 years Imagine Products Inc. has specialized in workflow software for the media and entertainment industry. We recognize that our success depends on that of our customers. We strive to meet and exceed theirs needs and demands in this ever-changing industry. Customer feedback is critical to achieving this goal. For us the workflow begins as soon as the media is captured on the camera card. Moving media is our specialty, doing it securely and accurately is very important – that’s where we shine.

Over the last 10 years, ShotPut Pro® has become the standard offloading application in our industry. Many major feature film companies are required by insurance to use ShotPut Pro because of the checksum technology. Those checksums ensure that each copy is 100% accurate. The knowledge we gained in creating ShotPut Pro has transferred to all of our products, as has the checksum verification. ShotPut Pro 2019 introduced our iOS app, Imagine HQ. This allows users to get job statues in real time. The possibilities of this iOS app are endless and ultimately each of our software apps will connect to it.

New for IBC 2019 is TrueCheck. TrueCheck is a file analysis application that specializes in verification activities beyond offloading. Files, folders and entire volumes can be compared for sameness and difference based on user specified conditions. MHL and PDF reports can be created from any attached media or volume placed into the queue. A smart search based on user specified and industry defined criteria, like camera manufacturer can be done, as well as MHL verification and checksum viewing. This app is one of the most intricate and ambitious products we have ever created. There is not one product on the market that can compare and we are very excited to demonstrate its power in Amsterdam this fall.

Our next app in the work stream is PrimeTranscoder®. This is ideal for encoding and decoding camera originals to usable formats. Whether that’s for editing or sharing via the Internet, PrimeTranscoder can handle it all – simultaneously. Once described as the Swiss Army knife of transcoders, PrimeTranscoder is a robust tool that simplifies and automates any workflow.

The final stage of all good projects is archival. PreRoll Post® and myLTO® both adhere to the LTFS/LTO archiving requirements. The major difference between these two apps is the ability to retrieve the data in the future. Users required to provide an LTO deliverable but never intend to access those files again will benefit from myLTO’s simple user interface. PreRoll Post boasts the ability to not only retrieve the files but also search a locally stored database created from each archive.

Imagine Products has been on the cutting edge of software development for close to 30 years. Our next great adventure is cloud. The Imagine Products Cloud is due out later in 2019 and will be ideal for managing, sharing and storing projects and their respective pieces.
