EXTENSIS SELLS CREATIVEPRO.COM TO PFL

EXTENSIS, developer of creativity and productivity software for creative professionals, have announced the sale of creativepro.com to Montana-based PrintingforLess.com (PFL).
PFL have acquired the rights and assets related to the creativepro.com portal. Launched by Extensis, Inc. in August of 1999, creativepro.com serves as a vertical portal providing online content and resources for the print and Web publishing communities. Both companies operated as independent business units until June of 2000 when ImageX acquired both Extensis, Inc. and the creativepro.com brand.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Extensis and their long line of software products servicing creative professionals will not be affected and Extensis will continue to serve their growing customer base without interruption. Extensis’ award-winning product lines include: the newest version of their font management tool, Suitcase 10, Portfolio for asset management, Preflight Online for digital file inspection and delivery, and multiple creativity tools for Photoshop and QuarkXPress.
