Munro equip Henry Wood Hall control room

UK studio design consultancy Munro Acoustics has completed the acoustic refurbishment of the main control room at the Henry Wood Hall, London.
The project involved replacing acoustic tiles that were breaking apart due to old age. The room was also redecorated to give it a fresher, cleaner look.
Andy Stevens, manager of The Henry Wood Hall, said: “Munro Acoustics were recommended by producer Tony Faulkner, who has recorded here on many occasions and is someone whose opinion we trust. We have two control rooms at the Hall, one of which is acoustically treated and acts as our primary control room. Although this wasn’t a major project for Munro Acoustics, it was very important to us that the refurbishment was handled professionally because control room one is such a busy and popular room.”
