Trimedia Broadcast agree 'Captive Audience' deal with SCC

In a deal designed to catapult ‘Captive Audience Network’ (CAN) solutions into mainstream business and retail markets, Digital broadcast specialist Trimedia has agreed a partnership deal with SCC, Europe’s largest privately owned IT solutions provider.
Trimedia already leads the CAN field with unique wireless plasma screen applications enabled by cutting edge digital broadcast technology. Using internal networks or the Internet, CAN enables simple and cost-effective distribution of television and video images to individual screens. For the first time, businesses and retailers can send relevant messages, pictures and time sensitive offers to customers at the point of purchase.
Trimedia Managing Director John Donovan said: “Retailers and businesses are beginning to see that CAN creates new brand opportunities, introduces powerful influencing and education potential and opens up new revenue models. This partnership allows us to bring all that to a vast audience, right now.”
