DPP Unveils Programme For Exclusive Las Vegas Event
The programme has been unveiled for the 2019 DPP Exclusive event in Las Vegas, focusing on the theme 'The Secret Life of Video' and featuring top brands like Vox Media.
Media industry business network, DPP is hosting its annual invitation-only summit for 60 senior leaders from its membership. It is being held on 06 April in Las Vegas ahead of NAB 2019.
DPP Managing Director, Mark Harrison said: "Everyone knows there's more to video now than just broadcasting. Video is powering the internet and becoming the world's favourite communication tool. DPP Exclusive explores what this extraordinary development really means for mainstream media by showcasing the companies, trends, technologies and innovations shaping this wider world of video.

Confirmed speakers include: Brad Jakeman, Senior Advisor and Consultant, PepsiCo, revealing what it takes to become 'The brand as production company'; Tony Storr, Global Mobile & XR Garage Leader, IBM discussing 'Making maintenance smart', and Marty Moe, President, Vox Media presenting 'Alt Digital: how online platforms revolutionised content making'.
Other sessions, with speakers to be announced, include:
• 'Commodity video: what sells and who's buying', featuring Mick Reed, CEO, Clippn, Scott Ambrozy, Cinematographer/Director, D.P. of Oscar-nominated doc 'Super Size Me' and Jamie DiVenere, Media Management Strategist and Metadata Guru
• 'The people's revolution: video in eastern markets' - how huge new video markets are emerging in Asia
• 'Video: a user's guide' - how new content creators and influencers build their brand
This year DPP Exclusive is co-located with Avid Connect at the Aria Resort & Casino, and enabled by DPP Member, Dropbox.

During NAB Show this year the DPP will also hold an exclusive breakfast for DPP members about IMF for Broadcast & Online. IMF for Real, enabled by DPP member Ownzones will offer practical advice to facilitate IMF pilot projects by focusing on existing real-world implementations, a briefing on technical developments, and discussions around commercial and strategic considerations.
