Holdan announce availability of Como Pro SDI DV conversion upgrade

Holdan, exclusive UK and Ireland distributors of Como products, have announced that the highly anticipated RS-422 upgrade for the Como Pro SDI is now available, allowing control of VTRs from an editing system and for bi-directional conversion of DV time code to LTC time code.
This high performance bi-directional format converter is designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding professional and broadcast user, is fully compatible with both Windows and Mac systems and is billed as an ideal add on for NLE applications from Matrox, Avid, Canopus, Pinnacle and Apple.
In addition to converting DV to and from analogue video and audio, the units SDI and AES EBU audio I/O facilitates bi-directional conversion of DV to SDI. It also provides bi-directional analogue to SDI and analogue-to-analogue transcoding.
All new units that are shipped will now include the RS-422 feature as standard. The Como Pro SDI is available now priced £1295 (Retail Ex VAT).
