ATEME To Demonstrate Latest Innovations At IBC

ATEME is to demonstrate its latest innovations in all codec, machine learning and full IP video delivery orchestration at IBC 2018, 14-18 September.

ATEME will be showcasing its solutions at stand 1.D71.

Technology Leadership
ATEME will be demonstrating its improvements to video quality across all codecs: MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC and in AV1, the 100% royalty-free codec, all part of the already-in-production TITAN video solution. In addition, ATEME will be showcasing how its Content Adaptive Streaming® algorithm using Machine Learning can be applied to video quality and bandwidth savings - without any operational impact - in both offline and live workflows. State of the art consumer experiences will also be a key focus on the ATEME booth, featuring a cross section of the various HDR, HFR, and Next Generation Audio technologies out there.

Agile Contribution
ATEME will show its low latency, high density encoders and decoders, supporting all codecs, with any I/O: IP, ASI, SDI, baseband over IP. ATEME will also demonstrate its new scheduler tailored to efficiently and dynamically manage hundreds of IRDs receiving live content protected by BISS-CA, the EBU's royalty-free, open standard solution for encryption.

The Video Datacenter Expert
ATEME continues to expand its TITAN micro-services by including a unique workflow distributed processing and origin server, enabling Just-In-Time-Packaging/Transcoding (JITP/JITT). ATEME will also be demonstrating its new scheduling solution for dynamic channel management and ads monetisation at the central headend or in the regions.

IBC 2018 takes place at the RAI in Amsterdam from 14-18 September.
