Broadpeak Manager To Deliver Speech On ABR Technology
Broadpeak® product manager Jeremy Desmauts is to deliver a speech on ABR technology at the 2018 Mile High Video Workshop in Denver.
He will present 'mABR: Deliver OTT to the Main Screen With the Same Efficiency as Broadcast' on 01 August during the 'Transport and Delivery' section.
During the presentation, attendees will learn how multicast adaptive-bit-rate (ABR) technology can be used to power a successful OTT service, enabling exceptional scalability and QoE. Leveraging home networks, multicast ABR allows operators to cost-effectively manage the consumption peaks of live multiscreen services for millions of simultaneous viewers by using only a few megabits per second from their networks. The session will also draw from real-world use cases by leading global operators.
