Aurora Introduces New Pre-Visualisation Facility

Aurora has introduced its new pre-vis and programming facility at its North London base.

The new facility provides Lighting Directors and crews exclusive access to a range of lighting tools installed specifically to assist in the creative design and technical planning in a variety of productions.

Forming part of an ongoing pan-company programme of investment, the newly upgraded installation features MA and Hog lighting desks, dedicated computers running both WYSIWYG and MA3D software and stunning 4K monitors.

The area offers relaxed, informal surroundings, including a smart breakout lounge, making it an ideal setting for client meetings and presentations. Conveniently situated at the company's North London complex, the suites also benefit from direct access to the huge on-site lighting inventory, perfect for hands on equipment reference and product demonstrations.

Speaking about the facility, Tiago Lima, responsible for Aurora VER Design Support Services, said: "Having a dedicated pre-vis studio facility has become almost mandatory in providing a full service lighting package. Our new self-contained suites allow us to not only provide clients with a state of the art resource but to also supply immediate technical support covering all aspects of production.

"Along with our studio/demonstration space, the pre-vis suites have already proven to be a valuable addition to our service range. We're looking forward to welcoming further clients from all areas of our business to come and road test the facilities."

The studios are available now to lighting directors, designers, gaffers and crews from all areas of the broadcast, live event and media production community.
