Imago France appointed Optibase distributor

Optibase, the video streaming developer, has appointed the Paris-based subsidiary of specialist video communications distributor Imago as the company's sole distributor in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Optibase’s powerful server and video gateway platforms pave the way to constraints-free streaming of rich media over broadband networks and enable interconnectivity between DVB and IP networks. Optibase's products have been deployed in applications such as TV broadcasts over IP networks, video-on-demand, corporate communications, distance learning and business television.
To take responsibility for developing the Optibase name in France, Imago France has appointed Emanuel Morin, who previously worked for Visual Dis. He is a high-end broadcast specialist, with particular expertise in video-on-demand and streaming and he will focus on strengthening the reseller market in digital video.
Also appointed by Imago France is Sebastian Caut, a specialist in video conferencing, who joins the company from Elola, part of Amec-Spie. He will be developing Imago's reseller channel for video conferencing vendors, including Polycom.
