Philippines Broadcasting Company Selects Gatesair Transmitter

News Image
A major Philippines broadcasting company has replaced its ageing transmitter with Gatesair's Maxiva UXTE liquid-cooled transmitter with PowerSmart Plus technology.

The compact single-rack configuration includes dual Maxiva XTE exciters with automatic switching to maximise redundancy, stability and uptime.

The high-efficiency design of the Maxiva ULXTE with PowerSmart Plus provides better performance and total cost of ownership for the customer, while eliminating the customer's risk of downtime.

Broadcast Enterprises and Affiliated Media (BEAM) selected Gatesair's product due to its five-year warranty and accelerated delivery time.

BEAM's strong relationship with local channel partner Composite Technology, which handles local service and support needs, also helped Gatesair secure the contract.
